Post-Expo Content


Hello everyone!

Firstly, we had a great initial launch weekend and an amazing reception at our local game expo. There is a lot that we learned through this and we wanted to make a community post to provide some insight in the direction the game is headed. 

  • Since this release is only a demo, the entire Sewer level is prone to significant change. (Mostly new additions!)
  • From the start, the initial sewer will receive some more visual flare. (effects such as drippage and more general ambiance)
  • It will be more easily communicated to the player that interactable npc's can be spoken to by pressing 'E'
  • The underwater pipe section will receive some touch-ups
  • The plunger gun (Declogger)'s model has some culling issues that will be resolved. 
  • Jumping over the fence after the declogger was not communicated to the player efficiently and as a result we will alter the environment accordingly.
  • There will be a more general introduction and tutorial for using the declogger before the raft ride.
  • The raft ride will receive a practicality update. (Too many players were getting stuck in some areas, jumping off onto the other wooden pallet thinking it was another raft, the raft getting stuck at the jumping off point, players being able to just crouch instead of hop off)


  • The rat city will receive the majority of the changes in the coming updates.
    • Change to overall terrain to add more  variation
    • More diversity in the environments
    • There will be mini-encounters with npc's you are required to help in order to progress through the level.
    • Knight Rats will block your way until you have proved yourself as an outsider in order to seek counsel with the king
    • Junkyard Rat will be an encounter
    • Rad Rat MIGHT be an encounter
    • Windmill area will be an encounter
    • Small rat village outside of castle will be an encounter
    • Kromer's Rat Race :) (This one is a secret)
    • The castle will get a redesign
    • the entrance, main building, and npc's in the area will be greatly altered
    • Rat king's dialogue will remain mostly unchanged (except for a few last minute spelling errors we made...)
    • After the Rat king interaction, the player will be prompted to begin a boss battle in the holy pipe.

    • General performance improvements, bug fixes, etc.
    • heavy increase in plot & humor
